This is so farcical.
I was reading this about Farc who kidnapped eleven politicians and 'accidentally' executed them. It seems that they came across another rebel group, thought they were government troops sent to rescue the hostages so killed them rather than to have them escape. It like an episode of Keystone terrorists.Of course Farc are performing an investigation. The results are not known yet but I feel that it's unlikely that any of the people who made this mistake will face justice. Read the full story here.
This sounds very much like what could happen in the UK. Isn't it funny how these groups are becoming more legitimate in their actions.

What you have is here is an odd situation. FARC are the de facto regime across a couple of interior provinces and their authority is tactitly acknowledged there. Colombian authorities have pretty much withdrawn and FARC law rules.
A lit like North ans South Korea, each claiming to be the only true Korea, but respecting eachothers spheres in practice.
