The inarticulate rants of a paranoid who has looked around after the birth of his granddaughter and does not like what he sees.
I'm a divorced guy with two grown up kids. One has a child of her own so I'm a granddad. Makes me sound old which is right. We live in the NW of England and I'm a manager in a computer consultancy and tend to get involved in fixing things. I enjoy my job which seems to be unusual in this day and age even with the Dilbert type things that drive me loopy.
You might not like what you read here but it is the way I see it.
As you have probably worked out I have an opinion on everything. I'm happy to discuss any subject with anyone and it's not unknown for me to change my views with a new viewpoint or a few well thought out arguments.

What is this stupid footprint credits business anyway? Something to do with the rediscovery of the yeti or maybe the ancient Minoan civilization?

This left me wondering where Carboncreditkillers.com are coming from. The right, (climate change deniers), or the left (sackcloths for all).
Either way, I'm very tempted to send for one of their t-shirts.
james, It's a balancing act. You create 2 tons of CO2 by driving. Therefore you plan trees, or something, to eat up 2 tons of CO2. It's better than the lottery. It's a tax on the stupid but they feel better after.
Good point John. I didn't see that. I just assumed they were on the side of the CO2 creating devil. Actions speaklouder than words though so I'm on their side at the moment. After allthey are destroying trees. An act worse than the Holocaust and Darfur, sorry Sudan now. Oh sod it, all three added together.
