Actions speak louder than words.
Just reading this article and thought Wow! Things must be worse in the US than we first thought. Seems that Condoleezza Rice has won praise from Americans for her handling of foreign affairs during her first year. Now clearly I know naff all about politics but I did have a view that diplomacy was more to do with discussions and give and take than just a straight back off and application of threats which is all we have seen so far.Could I be being too harsh? Maybe this is a vast improvement over US diplomacy since 2000 and she deserves the praise. If so, I still think we still have a long way to go and actions speak louder than words. Let's see some action from the US and not a military one for a change.
