A night at the pictures.
Just watched Serenity at the pictures. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was very impressed. Excellent space scenes, some good fight scenes and even a bit of a story that held together that explained a bit more about River and with a fight against the Alliance. It was even left open for another show or a film. All in all, a good film and well worth a watch. There was so much going on that there was very little time to flesh out the characters. So it was just as well we had seen the series. It could have been watched on it's own but the characters would have been without a background.
