We don't believe you.

Subtle phrasing here in the report about a US offensive. Sounds like the reasoning is not believed but they are not saying as such.

US marines in western Iraq have launched a new offensive against what they say are al-Qaeda fighters. (emphasis in bold by me)

Maybe it is me just being paranoid.
