Read about council tax increases here. A colossal increase that we have no say in. A stealth tax, which is not so stealthy.And they are still looking for ways to increase it.
I get wage rises every year. Usually in line with inflation but my spending power has gone down year after year with all these hidden and expensive taxes. Council tax, NHS NI supplement, car tax, tax on insurance. The list is never ending. We should simplify all taxes and reduce the bureaucracy around them.
Councils need to become responsible for what they do and we should be allowed to pick and choose our services. How about that for choice?
