Comeback from what?
It seems Gareth Gates in attempting to make a comeback album. Read more here.Don't you have to be there before you have a comeback? All he had was one hit on the back of the popular TV show. I don't think any of these shows generated any stars that are still top of the pops a couple of years later. Although they are probably making a decent living from the show the real winners are the ones which didn't make it on the show itself who have gone on for a while. Does that not say something?
The exception of course is Kelly Clarkson who seems to have done well here although she was a US winner.
