Found this on Mr Eugenides site and I thought this isn't a mistake this is an advance system showing what we would have to do when our carbon credits had run out.Trip from Chester to New York for shopping. Current cost £500ish both ways. Fit it in a weekend.
See the low cost carbon route here. You can even see the carbon savings at step 36. Not a weekends worth though nor can you bring much back but it will certainly save the planet.

James, It's what Cameron and a few others want. A banking type system where you are allocated a certain number of carbon credits a month. Every time you used carbon such as filling up with petrol, using electrickery etc. you used points. If you can't keep within your allocation you had to buy some off someone else. Therefore setting a market price on your usage and keeping the UK within certain set limits.
Jobs for the boys and keeping us common folk in line.
